2010 Winter Olympics – Day 3 (Night)
With a bunch of fellow volunteers, I took the Seabus over to North Vancouver and then a bus up the hill to Grouse Mountain. We took advantage of the generous offer the facility was providing all 25000 Olympic volunteers of free nighttime access. Though we weren’t up there that long, I did capture a few nice scenes that night.

2010-02-13 – Michael Bublé Leute Heute Vancouver
“Michael Bublé zeigt uns sein Vancouver” Alle Rechte liegen beim ZDF! … to Vancouver, along with Michael Bublé. There, where athletes from all over the world are fighting for olympic medals is his homeland. The native Canadian is of course very proud of carring the torch. My workmate Susanne brings us Bublé and the Olympic city a little bit closer. His hit “Have not met you yet” is on the radio up and down. His Album has just won a Grammy, and also the Olympic Winter Games held in his hometown of Vancouver. No wonder that Multi-talented Michael Buble bubbling over with ideas in his favorite restaurant in Gotham. “If for example I write a song, I just steal and just change the text.” Quite seriously, he says, of course not, but he makes no bones about it to be a Beatles fan. And the biggest fan of his hometown. The view Top of his best, he says, and takes us to Grouse Mountain, the winter sports center, 20 minutes away from downtown. “It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I know you have them one of the most lovable elected. The people here are nice and easy friendly. ” And he belongs right in. As torch-bearers, of course, Michael Buble is a must. The son of Italian immigrants, is a proud Canadian. A Star to touch.
