Do most oil rig companies in alberta put you in a hotel if there’s no need for a camp?
My friend worked for a service rig company and he was put in a hotel for the whole time he was working. Do most companies do this or do you have to find a place to live yourself? i’d be moving from vancouver island to work and have no money to get a place until i start working.
where are safe places to park and camp on my pacific coast roadtrip?
I’m taking a solo road trip up the Pacific Coast from LA to Vancouver and back, and I plan on taking about a month to do it. I dont want to stay in a hotel most nights, are there places I can stop for the night and sleep in a tent without finding an official campground that cost $30?
Vancouver Night Clubs DOWNTOWN.?
Hello all! My birthday is coming up this July, which sadly lands on a Monday. I wont be able to go out on a monday so i want to host my birthday on the Tuesday night after. I know of many clubs, but i don’t know which ones are actually open on tuesday nights other than Celebrities. I was thinking of heading there, and if all else fails i probably will. But some of my guy friends are a little iffy about hitting up a gay club, even though it’s straight night! (what losers huh?)
Anyways, i was wondering what everyones opinions are for good night clubs that are open on a tuesday night!
(i can’t move my birthday to the weekend because I am going to go camping on the weekend to celebrate as well!)
Thanks in advance guys =)

Does anyone know of great campgrounds (or remote campsite) near courtenay or comox on Vancouver island, BC?
What i call “great” means “beautiful location” (on the beach or in the forest), quiet with remote areas (i hate camping a couple of feet from the other campers) and if possible not too many people:)

In the 1990s, the Supreme Court of Canada quashed vagrancy laws. What do you think of this?
In the Canadian city of Vancouver, poor homeless men lay around on the sidewalks. The police are powerless to remove them, since the Supreme Court has defined that Canadians have the right ‘to be vagrants.’
What do you think?
Would it not be kinder to have vagrancy laws, to arrest the offenders, convict them and put them in work camps where they would be taught the value of hard work and self-reliance?

Road trip from OC to Vancouver, BC for VEGANS!?
Hi, leaving June 15th for a two week roadtrip from OC, stopping in Portland Oregon, Seattle Washington and Vancouver BC! We travel in packs and are looking for cheap motels, maybe some neat parks or sites we could camp out for a night, and some bomb vegan restaurants to stop in each area or along the way!
We are not picky, We just like to travel, eat and party.
Need all the feedback I can get!!
THANKS!!
